🧭 How to Join North St Ives Scouts 

Whether you're registering as a Youth Member, Adult Helper, or Volunteer Leader – Scouts brings fun, adventure, new skills, and a world of opportunity to youth and adults alike. 

👣 Step 1: Visit Us First 

If you haven’t been to our hall before, we invite you to come along and check out a meeting in person. 
 
Our Scout Hall is located at: 
📍 Warrimoo Oval, Warrimoo Ave, St Ives NSW

Come along during the school term on the night that matches your child’s age group: 
- Joey Scouts (5–7 years): Monday, 6:30–7:30pm 
- Cub Scouts (8–11 years): Wednesday, 6:30–8:00pm 
- Scouts (11–15 years): Thursday, 7:00–9:00pm 
- Venturer Scouts (15–18 years): Kicking off soon – timing TBD 
 
If you’re unsure which section is right for your child or want to confirm the best time to visit, please contact our Group Registrar:

📝 Step 2: Start a Free Trial 

Once you've visited the hall, you're ready to register for a trial. 
 
👉 Click here to start your registration
Then choose "New Member" and select "Temporary membership" when prompted. 
 
This free 6-week trial gives your child time to try out Scouting before committing to full membership. No fees are charged during this trial. 

💳 Step 3: Become a Full Member 

After the trial, if your child would like to continue: 
 
1. Go to the Registration Page
2. Click "New Member" 
3. Select "Permanent membership" when prompted 
 
This will activate your child’s full membership and prompt you to pay the required joining and term fees. 
 
💡 Discounts available: 
After registering your first child, you'll receive an email with a personal discount code for any additional children in your family. 

🔄 Step 4: Renewing Membership 

If your child is already a Scout and you're renewing for the next Trek (3 terms): 
 
👉 Click "Returning Member" on the registration page and follow the steps. 

🤝 Adult Volunteers Welcome! 

Scouts is a community-led organisation. Parents and carers are encouraged to get involved: 
 
- Volunteer as an Adult Helper or Leader 
- Assist with events, fundraising or logistics 
- Help us keep Scouts fun and thriving for everyone!
