🔑 Urgently Needed: Treasurer & Registrar
These two roles keep the Group running day-to-day. Right now, both are vacant — if you can help with either, please get in touch, even just to ask questions.
Treasurer: Manages Group finances: banking, budgeting, annual report financials preparation and financial reporting to the committee. Ideal for someone with accounting, bookkeeping, or financial admin experience. Time commitment: ~1 hr/week, plus a monthly Group Committee meeting.

Registrar: Manages member records, registrations, welcomes new members and manages renewals, keeping our membership system current. Ideal for someone comfortable with admin and databases/spreadsheets. Time commitment: ~1 hr/week, plus a monthly Group Committee meeting.

Full handover and support provided by outgoing volunteers. No Scouting background required — just a Working with Children Check (we'll help you apply if you don't already hold one).
Other Ways to Help
We're also looking for volunteers across a few other areas. All roles are flexible and come with training and support.
Program Support:(requires Leader training & WWCC) Assistant Joey Leader · Assistant Cub Leader · Assistant Scout Leader Work alongside uniformed Leaders to plan and run activities. ~2–4 hrs/week plus occasional weekend events.
Committee Support: Group Deputy Chairman Assists the Group Chair with governance and communications. ~1 hr/week plus monthly committee meeting.
Events, Facilities & Fundraising:(hands-on/practical) Deputy Fundraising Manager · Deputy Hall Hire Manager · Hall Maintenance Master · Kitchen & Toilet Master · Lost and Found Master · Quartermaster · Graffiti Squad · Help with fundraising, venue bookings, hall/kitchen upkeep, and equipment logistics. Ad hoc, ~1–3 hrs/week depending on events.
Digital: Social Media / Marketing Manager · Manage our social media presence ~1 hr/week
Uniform Support: Second-Hand Uniform Store Manager · Second-Hand Uniform Store Deputy ~1 hr/week
