Joeys
🐾 Joey Scouts (Ages 5–7) at North St Ives
Joey Scouts is the first youth section of Scouts NSW, designed for children aged 5 to 7 years old. It’s a caring, fun-filled introduction to Scouting where kids learn to share, explore the outdoors, and build friendships, teamwork, and resilience through games and creative activities (Scouts NSW).
Under the guidance of trained Joey Scout leaders, each unit of up to 20 children works in small patrols, supported through Unit Council meetings that foster self-expression, leadership, and a sense of community.
