Venturers
🌍 Venturer Scouts (Ages 14–18) at North St Ives
Venturer Scouts is the fourth youth section of Scouts Australia, designed for young people aged 14 turning 15 to 18. The program emphasizes independence, leadership, personal challenge, and community involvement. As a Venturer Scout, you’ll experience a "do-it-yourself mix" of fun, adventure, and purposeful goals, while working closely with like-minded peers under supportive adult guidance.
Venturers manage their own Unit Council, plan activities, develop skills, and pursue achievements through the Achievement Pathways—including Milestones, Special Interest Areas (SIAs), and Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS). The ultimate recognition is the Queen’s Scout Award, a highly regarded leadership and service accolade.
