.The Silver Koala is presented to adult members who have shown exceptional and sustained service to Scouting over at least 14 years, and RobO’s contribution to North St Ives Scouts and the broader Scouting community more than embodies this spirit. From founding the Kangaroo Cub Pack with Norma in the 1970s, to pioneering inclusive leadership models and supporting generations of young Scouts in discovering adventure, community, and confidence—RobO’s legacy is deeply embedded in our history.

His energy, humour, and unwavering belief in youth empowerment have left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to work alongside him. This award not only recognises his years of leadership and service, but also celebrates the heart and character he brings to everything he does.
